Press SPIN (or Space) to pick a random JJK character.
How the JJK character wheel works
Hit SPIN and the wheel picks a random JJK character from our database. Each spin puts 14 characters on the wheel, chosen at random from whichever pool you've selected, so the line-up changes every time. When it stops, the character under the pointer is your pick, with their picture, affiliation, grade and technique.
The filters above the wheel narrow things down. All uses every character with a proper role in the story (we skip shikigami and the Culling Game's Kogane). Tokyo High sticks to Tokyo Jujutsu High students and staff. Villains, Female and Main do what you'd expect. Tick "Remove winner from pool" if you don't want repeats, which is handy for a group draw where everyone needs a different character.
Your last five results show up under the wheel, and each one links to that character's entry.
What to use a random JJK character wheel for
People use the wheel of JJK characters for all sorts of things. A few that work well:
- Drawing prompts. Spin once for a character, then draw them in a style or setting they'd never be in. Nanami on a beach holiday is a classic for a reason.
- Cosplay ideas. Use the Main or Female filter if you want a character with lots of reference images. The wider pool will throw up deep cuts like Takaba or Miwa, which can be more fun at a convention.
- Quiz nights. Spin, hide the pop-up, and make your friends name the character's technique or debut season. The season guides make good answer sheets.
- Fan fiction and roleplay. Spin two characters and write the scene where they meet. Some pairs are easy. Mahito and Todo is a challenge.
- Settling "which JJK character are you" arguments. It's random, so it's fair. Mostly.
JJK characters wheel games to try with friends
Who would win. Each player spins once, and the group argues about who wins a fight between the two picks. Use our strongest JJK characters ranking to break ties, or ignore it and argue anyway.
Build a team. Spin three times and make a squad for the Culling Game. Then decide which colony they enter and how long they'd survive.
Domain draft. Spin until you land on someone with a domain expansion. Everyone who lands on a character without one has to explain how that character would deal with Gojo's Unlimited Void. It's harder than it sounds.
Guess the voice. Spin, then one player does the character's voice or catchphrase while the others guess. Inumaki is either the easiest or the hardest, depending on how much you like rice balls.
Is the wheel actually random?
Yes. The characters on the wheel are shuffled from the pool before each spin, and the landing spot is picked at random. Every character in the pool has the same chance of appearing, and every segment on the wheel has the same chance of winning. Nothing is weighted towards popular characters, which is why you'll sometimes get a Culling Game player you've never heard of. Click through to their entry and you might find a new favourite.
The spinning animation respects your device's reduced-motion setting. If that's on, the wheel picks almost instantly instead of spinning.
